The SuXin FFU, a combination of fans and filters, is typically installed at the air supply end of cleanrooms, usually on a suspended gasket-sealed keel frame.
Depending on the cleanliness requirements, the filters can be high-efficiency (HEPA) or ultra-high-efficiency (ULPA) filters, which provide clean air to the cleanroom.
In addition to overcoming the resistance of the high-efficiency filters, the fan unit must also overcome the resistance of all components in the entire circulation air path to maintain the set operating air velocity.
The FFU is favored for its simple design and construction, flexible air velocity adjustment, and ease of changing the clean area, making it a popular system in industrial cleanrooms.
